I don't see what problem people have with Fords and Mustangs. I like the older 5.0s. In fact, I was going to buy a black 5.0 before I got the Civic. But my parents didn't want me having a manual V8 rwd that responds well to mods, so they convinced me to get the Civic.

I personally see nothing wrong with an old 5.0. Those are great cars, even have been known for being very reliable means of transportation. I have a friend that owns a modded up '93 5.0 GT and he has a little over 200k miles on it, AND IT STILL RUNS STRONG! These are great cars, and they are fast. And all those who chose to refer to these very popular muscle cars as "5 point slows", I want to see you go up against one just to see how slow they really are. Sometimes I wish I actually bought the black '93 going for $5000 that I saw before I bought my Civic, but my parents were against it because it was "american". Oh well.

i would love to have the 302 in my civic. amazing power. hell, throw down a grand or 2 and make it even more powerful. i dont see why just cuz its a ford, that its crap. im an car enthusiast. not a ricer. i got my love for detroit muscle, along with the import scene. and i know how fast those 5.0s go. my friend has one, and i've raced another. lets just say i got smoked like no othere
