those are flywheel numbers, not whats actually reaching the ground. i'd say wait on the acr (accord coupe type-r)

don't 2002 accords have only 200hp?? I thought the new model were the 2003's. Oh, and the manual that comes out in February will have even better times.

yes you are right. 2002 accord v6's had 200hp, the 2003 is where they made the jump to 240. they run a 15.7@91mph at the track with the 5 speed auto. the new six speed should produce a low 15.

EDIT* 4th and 5th gear are electronically limited to 130mph. In 5th however, the tach is only at i think it was 3940rpms (i know it was below 4000). that's pretty damn sick considering without the limiter, and with enough power, the gearing is more than ready to go over 160mph, especially with the 7000rpm redline.

Whats it matter? Each Honda dealer got an allotment of SIX V6 6spd manual Accord Coupes. Doubt you will ever race one let alone own one.

Maybe he meant APC Accord "Type R". One letter & those quotes make a world of difference.

EXACTLY. I beginning to think that Honda has a thing for toying w/ our automotive emotions:
-Hey let's make a car that handles rather good but looks like a van (Civic Si).
-Lets tease North America by giving them the Type-R and never letting them have it again... but we will make FP and let them look like they are fast.
