Ford Focus Poser
Alright, I already put one of my Mexico experiences with street racing on here, but here's one that'll boggle your mind. A couple days ago I was on my back to my place when I noticed a 4 door Ford Focus driving next to me. A lot of racers down there have stickers all over there cars of name brand products, but this Focus had a sticker that made me lose my train of thought. On the side of his car, he had a sticker that said "DOHC VTEC". What is up with that? Honda and Acura cars are the only ones with that sticker.
Its a celebration bitches!

Maybe they do have a similar engine, I don't know cuz I hate Ford with a passion. But isn't the "DOHC VTEC" label copyrighted? It makes me want to that an American car is trying to be like a Japanese car.

No "VTEC" or similar technology in the focus, the zetec is just a dohc 16 valve engine. If it had variable valve lifting technology it would be pumping out 160 horses instead of 130.

how do you figure it would have 30 more horses all because of variable valve timing? the lx civics have what like 115 hp or something and the ex has 127. that is a jump of only 8 horsepower and the ex has variable valve timing.

That reminds me of when we plastered my friends rusted caravan with stickers (no type-r or H so it wasn't the same one) We put Ferrari windshield banner and a rollcall of BS performance mods under each mirror, Turbo AND Supercharged stickers. Some people laughed, others actually gave him dirty looks. I guess some people just didn't get that it was a joke or something, I don't get why some people were pissed. LOL.
