If you were in the market for a truck, and not for off roading but for daily driver...which would you get? And why? Thanks....

Depending on what you need a truck for. If you need towing capacity and something "tough" I´d go for the f-150 or a silverado. If you need don´t need something big, I´d go with a Nissan Frontier, that is cool.

If you don´t need a truck at all, get a CIVIC

Truck or SUV?..and for what purpose..

if it's a Mini..an S10/Sanoma without a doubt...

It's a fullsize..F-150 for looks/show.. Silverado for work.

If it's for offroading a Ford Ranger/Mazda B series 4x4(most suspension travel and best footprint for navigating rocks and branches and such)

If it's an SUV...

Nissan Xterra

Ford F-150 lightning. My dad got one a couple months ago and the things is so much fun. I really am not a ford fan but his truck is fast as hell. He kills me every time I race him.

Toyota Tundra- Badass truck, can do pretty much everything (daily driver, tow, offroading) and is Toyota so you know its quaility
Toyota Tacoma Prerunner- I think these are really b.a. if you want something smaller than a tundra
Chevy Silverado- Nice off roading, good work truck, really tuff
Ford F-150- Well, i wouldnt buy a Ford after what happened with both our Explorer and our Mustang ...

etc...

The Avalanche has a really nice smooth ride, even with the Z71 "off-road" package.
And you can fit just about anything you want in it thanks to the midgate. You can leave the back window and hard covers on, but still fold down the back seat, giving you an enclosed 8 foot bed..pretty nifty, if you ask me.

id have to go with that, unless i could go SVT Lightning...but thats comparing apples to oranges

pretty nice, i rode in the back of one (or was it the Tacoma?) and my only complaint was the lack of leg room..but besides that, it was a relatively nice truck

small truck: toyota tacoma with the TRD off road suspension - i think it's more fun than the frontier, which IMO looks like a toy
full size truck: toyota tundra - nice build quality, toyota reputation, but i hate the new flareside ones... or GMC sierra - looks badass, GMC makes great trucks, well, the silverado is nice too, but i like the sierra's headlights better
small SUV: toyota RAV4 - yeah yeah it's kinda girly, but i'd sport it... it's not an offroader so i'd lower it, make it handle more like a wagon, i'd go for a CR-V too, actually. i think the 03's don't look half bad
large SUV: GMC yukon/Chevy Tahoe-not as huge as the 'burban, but sufficiently big and packs enough power to move things

Depending on what year your planning on, I would either go with a Silverado...unless your buying brand new, then I'd say Tundra.

I would get a 2003 GMC Sierra short bed, regular cab with the vortec 5300 engine and Carbon Metallic paint, bolt on a set of 23's, lower it and you've got a nice truck.
