it depends on what your leasing compnay stipulates.

however, keep in mind that even if you mod your "leased" car, you can trade it in or sell it. as long as you come up with the money you may be short on the buyout, you are fine.

For example.... I had leased my 2000 Civic Si. I had lots of mods done to it though, and when I traded it in, the dealership gave me like $16k for it, which was enough to cover my buyout on the lease. So the mods never even mattered, since the dealership essentially bought the car from the lease company.

However, let's say my buyout had been $16k and the dealership only gave me $15k, then they would have rolled that extra grand into my next car. But again, as long as you buyout the car or trade it in, the mods don't matter for the most part.

Lease It, Upgrade It, Part It Out, Return It.
or
Buy It, Upgrade It, Part It Out, Sell It.

What's the difference?

hondas hold up in value pretty well, so you can always opt to sell it and pay off with that.

Yea, bodykits shouldnt matter cuz u can just take it off. If you get the OEM body kit though, you can keep it on. I remember my last leased 6th gen civic. I couldnt do **** to it.

I tried to take my car in for an oil change yesterday and I could'nt even pull it into the shop! I have a Magnaflow cat-back and my pipe hangs down to low, so I can't get an oil change or normal repairs because of my car being low, and the pipe hanging down!
I still have my OEM exhaust and will probably put it back on when I turn it back in on the lease. I reall don't care though...
