cars provide DC power (the cig lighter is 12v DC), while ps2 needs AC power.. how did u wire the power? use an inverter?

you can get one from walmart. just make sure that you hard wire it to you battery rather than through your cig ligter.

also, if you are going to have more than one thing on the inverter, make sure that the inverter can handle the amount of power that everything needs. otherwise you can really hurt your ps2 or game cube or whatever you chose to have in it. another thing is if you hard wire the inverter to your battery, make sure that you have a secure connection that doesn't leak power or your battery will drain.

i got switches for everything....subs, amp, neons , LCD screen, GC, and speakers under the seat.
will install inverter switch if i decide to take the GC outm and the PS2 in.

Remeber to turn off the PS2 after you shut your car off too. I just inatlled one in a mustang last week and the guys battery went dead cuz he left the PS2 on when he shut the car off.

a good idea would to be just to unplug the ps2 when u park your car. then u can just put it in your trunk.
no battery drain. no theif magnent.
