I think its pretty expensive for this

I would consider to buy it if I saw the time slips for the 1/4
stock vs JMO torque converter

it would really suck if you bought this and the performance equal that of a intake

but I never know just my opinion

IMO it's the same thing as ading a lightweight flywhel or clutch, just cuz it's and auto doesn's mean it'a no good, doesn't mean you whanna race just that you would like it to be better than it is.....

OMG SIY there was a long thread about this topic before I remember, anywayz autos are better for tracks you get consistant times. newayz only 5 hp difference except the 5 gear, I don't race mine btw. [IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG] well sometimes I forgot the thread but newayz I heard its better for turbos and nitrous, cuz you don't let you foot off the gas, i dunno. don't quote me on this, k thx.

Corrrect, when you are running boost it is better to have an automatic (better=nicer to the car) because you don't have to take your foot off the throttle when changing gears

There are numerous threads about it on this site. There's also a company in NJ that does torque converting too. You can search for it. I know, 'cause I posted it before.

Also, torque converters arent just for racing. They do help prolong the life of your transmission.

And for all you Auto-haters out there....get off your high horse.
