door dings!
I swear to god that college kids with sh.it box cars have no respect for any one elses ride. I'm leaving tomorrow to go home for christmas break and this semester I have got 2 door dings which are no big deal, dent doctor will take care of them.. but today I was washing my car and low and behold.. a vertical scratch that is about 1/4 an inch wide. People know when they are too close to a car.. why dont they park somewhere else?? or just be carefull getting in or out?? god damn! sorry for the venting, I'm just a bit upset becasue I doubt the scratch will wheel out. Any sugestions on what to do?? maybe touch up paint, then rub out then wax?? Do ya think that will hide it for the most part?? I swear.. people now a days, no respect. Oh yeah, and a kid in a grand prix next to me at the light a few minutes ago, about a length back, decided we were going to race... man I wish he would have informed me of that or I would have not TURNED!!! IDIOT!!!

Yeah, but I know that if I took up more than one spot, there would still be some as.s hole that thinks they can fit with their 1986 escort or some crap like that. It's pointless. I'm leaving my car at home untill like april anyways. Winter in Michigan's a bi tch! ~later~

Here's some things to look for when parking down at school
First and obviously the best......... Park away from everyone. but it's usually way to busy to do that, You could get lucky and find a corner/end spot and park over towards the curb, but it's rare, so here's some cars to look for.
1. Nice new cars - Find cars that are either brand new, or look like someone cares for it a car with nice rims, no altezzas a respectable kit, no football bleacher and no crazy paint job is usually a good sign the guy cares about the car. Cuz remember... if they hit your car and leave paint, it scratches theirs too.
2. Compact sedans - the doors are smaller than coupes
3. Minivans - as strange as this sounds... remember the doors in the back don't swing out. Just remember to park on the right side so the soccer mom doesn't nail your car.
4. Your Friend's car - yet another safe bet. They know you care for your car.
Avoid at all costs:
GM F-Bodies- The biggest damn doors
Rust Buckets
Huge sedans
Pickups and SUVs - Heavy doors, and the driver doesn't care.
It's worked so far....

just buy a nice paded car cover (the EVOLUTION series kick ***), and be careful where you park. dings are a fact of life, deal with it.

I always get to the parking deck extra early and park next to a big concrete column. That way the person on the other side couldn't ding me if they tried.
I have 2 dings on the driver's side though. I swear, if I ever come back to my car and see a ding from the car next to it, I am going to kick the living ish out of their door.
Also, I was sitting in my car one day when a family arrived back at their taurus parked next to me. The dad just tossed his door (driver's door) completely open without a second thought. If I hadn't of been far over to the other side in my spot, he would have dented my door not dinged it. Some idiots are just that, idiots.
Another parking hint....I hope this makes sense...if the parking spaces are at a diagonal - try pulling in somewhat straight. You will be far enough away from the doors on both cars. If you can't picture it, just try it some time and you'll see what I mean. The front of the left car is close and the back of the right car is close, but the doors are no problem. / / l / /

I dont have to worry abotu any door dings for the time being. I broke my ankle, im in a cast and use crutches, so I get to park in the hanicapped spaces, you know the ones with all the room around your car. So nice. But that ends in April,
