Man that article is bullshit, i dont drive an suv and never did, but have nothing against people who do, i quote from that article
"They often lack confidence in their driving skills."

that is bullshit, if i can drive i would buy a geo metro, not a big *** SUV.

"If you have a sport utility, you can have the smoked windows, put the children in the back and pretend you're still single."

what the f***, u can do that with a station and a van too !!!!

what is this "washington monthly" anyways???

True. Some of his complaints are a bit much. Complaints about being hazordous to other drivers and that sort of thing are valid though.

SUVs are good vehicles to me. My mom used to drive a MB e420 and now she drives a EB Expedition and shes hooked on SUVs. So, who dont you just go out and get one and you too will feel the same.

I love my Jeep. I like sitting higher that everyone else on the road. I don't think it makes me feel invincible by any means, but more comfortable.

The points are sometimes valid ---

I gotta say, when I drive my mom's ML, I do feel like im invinsible. Its got pretty good acceleration (way faster than my car ) and i dunno, it seems easier to just cut in front of somebody and drive like an ***. However, it feels likes its gonna roll over, the height thing is my only complaint when driving SUVs...

EDIT---I can't spell.

he does have some valid points, but "i hope they all die" WTF is that ....... Retards like that make an intelligent conversation become a flame war ....

they seem fast but most of them aren't, except for the low end. the cheaper ones are still 10 sec 0-60 (not the BMW X5 4.6, obviously). but hey i root for the underdog in sports, so i take the little car anyday.

One thing SUVs can do that our Civics can't... is "roll over and play dead."
