Where Does All The Road Noise Come From?
I wanted to apply some of the "Dynomat" onto my computer since I want it to be quieter in the car when I drive. I'm not planning to slap Dynomat onto every part of my car. Would putting Dynomat on my doors only reduce the road noise by a lot? I have no rattles in the trunk so I'm not planning to dynomat my trunk. Any tips would help. THanks

Yeah I would check out some alternatives to *Dynomat*. You will save yourself a ton of money and will no doubt be just as happy, check with mohawkboom, he can hook you up.

okay..buy 250 or so sq.ft of sound deading mat (brown bread, Fatmat, or Raam60) deaden the floor in 1 layer, the firewall with 2 roof with 1, doors sidepanels and trunk(lid and floor) with 2 layers...use any extra on the firewall and the plastic inside the door(not necessary but helps a bit)..the buy 39 sq.ft fof B-Quiet L-Comp or cascade audio's equivalent.. and put 1 layer in each door, 1 layer on the firewall..and whatevers left under the rear seat and at the the angle where your heels would would kick if you were sitting in back... then buy 2 B-Quiet..or dynamat hodliners... 1 for your hood.. 1 for your roof....
Make sure to take care of all rattles while you have the interior stripped..this costs about $500us and takes 3-4 days...
