u just heard of it?!?
its not an actual OEM engine. its a hybrid that people make.
on the B Series Engine, a head from a B16A could be put on the B18 block as well as the B20 block.
making one freaking nice engine.

Just like everyone before me said, it is the LS bottom end with a Vtec head, you can use any of the vtec series heads (b16a2, b18c1, b18c5) the b16 flows the best but people use all three. Hp is somewhere like 175 whp (only a guess acutally numbers may differ), torque...no idea. You can also have a b20 bottom end usually called a crvtec this one has more hp and more torque. Either way they aren't that reliable and have to be rebuilt after like 60,000 miles I believe.

y would u want to turbo an LS-Vtec motor ?????........when the compression is that high already
...y not spend ur money on building the internals to handle higher boost on ur LS motor

PACKAGE 6: IB Sleeved "Killer" LS B18B Block
Description: "I want power and durability." This is our most popular block. If you want to go turbo, this is a good choice. If you want to go all-motor and make 220+ whp and run higher octane this is your choice. This block features the following details:
Iron Sleeves for total strength and durability
IB Spec Wiseco Pistons, JE pistons, or Arias Pistons. You choose!
Eagle Rods or Probe Rods
Bore, Hone, Hot tank, Deck (if nec)
Balanced Crank
Polished Crank
All new Bearings & Thrusts
All new seals, and Oil pan Gasket
New VTEC oil pump
New VTEC water pump
LS/VTEC Oil line Kit with all fittings
Compressions come in 9:1, 9.4:1, 10.5:1, 11.8:1, 12:1, 12.5:1. 12.8:1, 13:1
Price: $3450 Shipped. These are the same sleeves people use to boost 35+ PSI. Very strong.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just one good example for how to properly set up an LS/VTEC motor (a "Frankenstein motor" is a B20 block/B16/18 series head BTW, someone was wrong about that).
And it’s actually better to run high compression with your boost. Power wise anyway. If tuned properly these engines will create more usable HP and lower boost settings (by far) then their higher PSI, lower compression counterparts. There of course comes a point at which the 2 curves intersect and more PSI and lower compression becomes the only viable option, but were talking over 22 PSi here. Not your typical street set up by far. Then again, if you are a n00b with cash and just want a no hassle turbo set up without needing to tune it often (which is retarded BTW) a lower compression, low PSI set up is for you, as not to screw your engine up with your incompetence.
BTW you can order that engine, or see others at
