ok with all this snow, its becoming pretty easy to drift, i just want a guide on how to drift perfectly with both an auto and stick, just like that thread about " how to race an automatic" i want info like that, cause i usually over drift when i try it, and that good when there is a curb which u cant see under snow

Rep Power: 389 Yesterday i got to do some sand drifting.
Down here in SC i have to travel off-road to go to work. At work there is a huge lot that is tighly packed sand. I had some fun!!!!
It was great. Would have been more fun with a RWD car though.

Rep Power: 0 about how fast do you get going? do you just use your e-brake and gradually pull up and turn the wheel? i live in Massachusetts and usually over-drift and spin out w/ not much fun.

Rep Power: 0 a front wheel drive car cannot drift. it can only do light power slides. but if you want to do it, just yank the wheel one way or the other, i don't know about the gas, i haven't tried in my car, it's too low.

Rep Power: 307 Theres a closed down mall where i live and every winter the entire parking lot ices over, Its soo much fun to go out there and bust out some drifts. The funniest thing is last year a cop pulled up at about 12:30 in the morning and said "that looks like fun" so he did a few 360's and left.

Rep Power: 389 So what is the difference between a power slide and a drift exactly? I'm not understanding the concept. Is this the same as an E-brake slide?
