"No matter what you do it it, it's still a Type S."

The Integra Type Rs have special staplings on the chassis to keep it more rigid... and the only way to get that is to buy the chassis.
What? No Xenon H.I.D.s? No racing seats? Side-markers? What color is your ride? (No, that doesn't matter, heh.)
Pics? Your ride sounds good enough. What octane are you giving the engine?

why dont you post them then? I saw pics of your motor..didnt see any of your car.
IMO your car was born a Type S...no matter how much you do "weight reduction" badge it , motor whatever its still a Type S, registered as a Type S, and LHD. But hey its ur car call it whatever you want

This is the biggest buch of haters Ive ever seen, getting your panties in a bunch over my screen name.
But whatever, not worth getting mad...but the truth is Im not trying to pretend I have a real Type R. But the truth is I have done a pretty damn sweet job of the conversion. You guys should be giving some props and welcoming me to your site instead of this ****.
As for the 20 questions: I will be posting pics as soon as some of the bodywork is finished, primed roof & kit looks bad, HIDs too much money, Race seats...um do you know what Brides are?, got sidemarkers, Black Paint, and use 100octane.

You can afford 100 octane? You must really love that car.

Yeah I have some older pics, but it still loked pretty stock in them. I will take some of them after I paint the kit and post them. Well I can only afford to keep using 100 octane, because of a friends discount at BERTS MEGA MALL.

I think they normally sell 100 octane for 5 bucks, but I pay a little less that that.
As for taking the car to the track, any chance I get. Ive taken it to Pomona, Irwindale, Carlsbad, & Palmdale.
The Limited Slip Differential is a big improvement, a lot less wheelspin. It also feels great when taking corners fast.

Tein Flex Master is the ****, I love this suspension. I have had the settings pretty high since I got them, so it is really tight around corners.
As far as the sway bars, I have both of them but only installed the front. It was necessary because of the exhaust system, but I may be going with Comptech soon?

I got one question for you, how did you use a ITR wire harness on a LHD car? Those wire harnesses are setup for RHD. Did you basically have the thing rewired or did you actually do a RHD conversion?

For the amount of money you put into that "conversion" I could have build a DC5-S to run consistent 12s in the 1/4 mile. Hell, the price of the headlights, and Seats without the rails alone is over $3400 before shipping and tax.
Also why in the HELL would you pay premium prices for a Stock DC5R exhaust? I could understand if you wanted to be **** about it and make everything "JDM", but you apparently also installed many an American Aftermarket product as well. That doesn’t add up, especially since you had to forego the rear sway bar install BECAUSE you used the stock exhaust (which doesn’t make too much sense, but considering I have no idea what the differences in the underpinnings of either DC5, I'll let that slide).
It also doesn’t make too much sense to go through all the expense and money of buying and installing real DC5R interior & body pieces (Pedals, Badges, Console, Door Sills, Spoiler, Headlights, & steering Wheel) when you get a set of $1200 (EACH) Bride racing buckets. Not only are the DC5R Recaros better looking, and actual OEM JDM, they cost less as well.
Oh, and congratulations on owning an HKS Circle Earth kit. Man, $125 grounding cables kick ***!
Sounds to me like you put together a list of the most expensive parts you could find in order to make people think you actually have a DC5R conversion. Id really love to read the original UNEDITED post of yours, I wonder what was added, or taken out of your list.
Then again, you really could have thrown all that money into the bottomless pit you call a Type R, in which case I laugh at your stupidity.
You should also know that a higher octaine rating means that the gas ignights at a higher temp and burns slower, in order to help prevent detonation. If its put in a car that isnt running on the ragged edge of detonation due to some crazy compression and/or forced induction/nitrous use its going to hurt performance and create excess polution.

This sums it up right here...
"Im new to the forum and just wanted to introduce myself. I joined this forum to learn a little more about this car. My brother has it and has been pretty stumped."
So you basically rip a $24K car apart, and reassemble it using $12K+ in new parts... only to ultimately wind up knowing jack about your car and needing to get info on it off of an RSX forum in a 7th gen civic web site?
I think not.
Please, no one wants to stroke your nuts here.

And like I asked before, if you had a JDM Type R wire harness, wouldnt you either have to it rewired for left hand drive (thus, just kinda using the Type R wire harness plugs and having it rewired) or actually convert your car to right hand drive just to use that wire harness which would be ungodly expensive and i dont even know if thats legal to do? It just doesnt make any sense.

Well I havent had a chance to check out this site in a while, but I figured there would be another hater talkin ****.
Well first to answer the question of the JDM Harness. I changed the engine bay to ecu harness, not the wiring in the whole car. The reason why I stated JDM Harness, is the few people that have done this swap have used the USDM Harness.
JoeB16, first off you obviously aint no f ken Honda Guru, if you don't know why I would use the Type R then you don't know **** about the Type R. Im not going to waste my time explaining why I bought what I bought, or why I used 1 thing over another to a f*g like you.
Youre not too far from me why not come up and take a look for yourself. I would love to tell you this & more in person.
************************************************** ******************************
And about knowing jack about my car, where the f k did you come up with that one, when the f k did I ask anyone on this website a f ken question. All Ive been doing here is looking out for some good info for my bro.
