I'm thinking about installing a Nitrous kit...

I have the NX Single stage EFI kit, and I have the NX remote bottle opener, bottle heater, fuel pressure gauge, nitrous pressure gauge, purge kit, fuel pressure safety switch, NX triple switch panel, and all misc. other parts that come with the kit. So my question is how hard would this be to install myself with the help of a few other friends.

Everything on my car was installed by me, so I guess you can say I am about medium on the install it yourself scale. Think we can pull this off safely?

How much would this all cost to get installed professionally? Like three, foru hundred bucks? I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars on an install, if it isn't THAT hard, but at the same time I don't want to mess something up and have something really horrible happen to my motor...

Research and break it into steps. It shouldn't be too difficult. I figure, if you can install a stereo, you're halfway there(running the line and mounting the bottle). However, it's the rest I'd be worried about. Like, mounting the WOT switch and both solenoids.

I think it would depend on the instructions. Study it and ask someone who has done it any questions that may arise. Most importantly, I would set aside a whole weekend to do it.

No one does a better job than you will 'cause you care, they won't. If you pay someone else to do it and it grenades, it is unlikely they'll do anything other than shrug. It ain't hard to do.

That's exactly why I do everything myself. I'll do it perfect because it's my car and I won't settle for less. Plus, you learn how everything works and it would allow you to trouble shoot to a degree if something did go wrong.

Isn't installing stuff and getting out the tools and laying on the garage floor part of the fun in modding our cars. It is for me. Even if I get frustrated and want to rip the door off or something.
