Where did you guys put your Carb Exempt decals?
I just installed my K&N FIPK and it says I'm supposed to put that sticker on somewhere. Did you just put it on the front of the engine bay or something? I don't really want to put it on the intake itself.

I live in Illinois, and I put mine on the underside of the hood near whatever that other emissions sticker is. I also put a K&N sticker on the symmetrical part (right side.) The reason I put those on is because I don't wanna get screwed over if I get another ticket and the cop decides to be a jerk, check my engine, and ask to see the DOT stickers allowing some particular part. Its just like having insurance, most people don't really need it, but its there for back-up.
p.s. wash the area you put the sticker on, or else it will come off a lot easier.

I left mine on my intake. My buddy got in trouble because he didn't have a CARB sticker for his intake
