Congrats on your purchase and welcome to the site. YOu know you have different gauges and a different console from '01 and '02 models don't you? Me jealous..Heh

Beware of the honda haters in disquise...they are among us.

Also, stay away from the "vehical issues/problems" forum for a little while....

I have seen the '03 guage package in the daylight. Do they have an advantage over the '01-'02, such at night? IMHO, I was not very impressed. Maybe I am overlooking something.

I don't know about any advantages and such. I mean gauges are gauges if they work, right? I just like the looks of the new ones. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder you know...

Thanks everyone, seems like a great forum!

I am not sure how the guages looked in 01/02, but at night, the 03 guages are great..crisp white and red colors, very racy looking...

Good advice, just remember to search before posting. Some of the members are too stuck up to answer a question that has been answered only once, but I do agree that some have been overdone. Just do us all a favor and search otherwise prepare to be flamed by the haters. Stop the hate child.

I've got 380 miles on my new 03 Silver EX Coupe! Got it on Sunday...This is the seventh honda between my wife and I.

1.) 87 CRX
2.) 96 Integra LS
3.) 98 Integra LS
4.) 97 Civic DX
5.) 99 Civic EX
6.) 00 CRV EX
7.) 03 Civic EX

I got rid of my 99 Civic last weekend to buy the 03 Civic. So far I must say that the 03 (or simply the 7th Generation) Civic is VERY solid...At least that is my impression. I honestly think the car feels just as solid as my 98 Integra did. The first thing I noticed compared to my 99, was the solid feel when I close the door. I know, not really a big deal, but it was the first thing I noticed.

BTW, I LOVE the gauges and I am very happy with my Civic!!!

Looks like you have out done me by one car. My '02 civic made the 6th honda between me and my wife. Nice to see another member with some experience under his belt. Anyhow, welcome to the site!

i love my 2001 car even though some of the minor changes are cool, honestly its all the same. when the new gen kicks in and gets changed by 2005/2006, then i would consider modding my car to make it look better.
