sure. watch the video i linked and it tells why. only 1.5 lbs of pressure per square foot!
They had those installed on a Dodge Ram (if memory serves me correctly) on Trucks on TNN or TNT around a year ago. I don't think you can go faster than 45mph, but how fast do you need to go with the conditions of the road/off-road ground where your using them. Usualy people dont travel at 40mph through the mud or through 3 feet of snow anyways.

Um?? Snowmobiles work the same way. How about snowshoes for walking? I've been places in the mountain where the snow is so deep that only the top 2' is showing of a 20' spruce tree.[hr]

That would freak me out.
IronFist
IronFist - Yes there is a chance. You can only go so deep in the snow before you stop, about waist deep. I found that out the first time I went to the mountains and stopped to take a **** on the side of the trail. I stepped off the trail and I found myself waist deep in snow with no gloves on or jacket and my pants open.... I was told by experience riders to stay away from the spruce trees, the snow combined with their branches doesn't support weight very well around them and you can go past your head. My scariest time was I stepped off the trail another time to bury my gas, I was knee deep digging a hole. Well, I happened to only dig bout 3 feet down when I found a hollow opening underneath... I happened to be standing on deadfall and well, there was a 8 foot opening under that!
