Ok, so here i am driving home from work the other night and i had just exited the i-5 north onto the 76 east and am just cruising along like normal, maybe a little lane switching here and there to get by the slow pokes. Im just minding my own business and I see a set of lights in my rear view mirror matching me move for move. At first i thought it might be CHP but if i was speeding, he woulda tagged me by now. Anyway, i come to a 3 lane stop light that merges into a 2 lane immediately on the other side of the stoplight and im just waiting for the light to change, when the set of head lights that has been tailing me pulls up next to me and starts to rev. It sounded like a big domestic so i look over and it turns out to be a Vette Z06... I immediatly started laughing and he looks over at me all aggro thinking im actually gonna race him. This is probably 2 weeks after i got my car and i still had the dealership plates and a temp in the window. I was thinking to myself, "How big of ***** must this guy have to rev against a bone stock civic?" so outta amusement I rev back at him just to give him a taste of my 117hp! I stare down the down the light, pretending to be into the "race." Light turns green and he puts those 405 ponies to work and shoots off like im standing still. Well technically i was, i gently took off and drove like i normally would, except this time laughing at the idiot who thinks im gonna race him. Im barely up to 60 and he's long gone over the hill up ahead, and im still laughing the whole way. Just as my laughter subsides i see those familiar blue and red lights flashing up ahead. Guess who it was! Mr. Z06! Guess he didnt know that the Oceanside police station is only a mile and half up the road [IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG] Needless to say im hysterical at this point and to drive the point home, as soon as i got near him, i dropped to 3rd and let out the full fury of my 4 cylinders! It was near dusk so i couldnt see his reaction, but let that be a lesson to the fools out there trying to run on me on the 76 [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]

I LOVE doing that! I had a WRX rev next to me at 2AM one night. He didn't notice the cruiser pulling up behind him...we were at a stop light. I revved and when it turned green he took off. The cruiser pulled him over as soon as he passed the 45mph limit. I drove by laughing and waving...the cop grinned at me and the kid just stared.

I like to pick people to race, especially the good sports cars cause i know they will win so i race them, then they get pulled over while i drivve by and laugh[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]

yup that happened to me once. when i was leaving the beach one night there was this pos pontiac next to me at the light and i had a buddy in my car so we were just pointing and laughing at him then the light turned green and he took off and we noticed an undercover cop in an unmarker impala right behind him so I knew not to take off well he got stopped at the next light at the next street so i pulled up next to him again and there he goes revving and revving so the light turns green he takes off and the road turns into the highway so he just slammed it to the floor he did get to speed very fast but i was right next to him the whole time but right when i got to the speed limit i let off the gas and the guy jsut kept going and there went the impala right behind him for like another mile and now this guy was hawling a$s i guess he was thinking the undercover cop wasnt a cop and wanted to race him. So after a fe more miles i kept up with a distance and then I see the lights flick and we jsut started crying becuase we were laughing so hard it was funny

Good story A close call happened to me a couple of weeks ago. I pull up on an automatic Pontiac Grand Prix. The guy starts to line up with me, instead of let me pass him. Then he slowly eases up and starts to pull away. So, I drop my car into 3rd and slam the gas home. Quickly I overtake him and by the time i make it to 5th I have put 3 cars on him. We are going 110mph down the hwy. We pass a car(it's my co-worker going to work...lol)

Then, my radar detector goes off. A car about a 1/8th mile ahead of me all of the sudden slams on the breaks and pulls off into the grass. fvck! It's a cop! The grand prix and I slam on the breaks and cruise by the cop. After we get about 500 yards passed him he pulls back onto the road. My turn to go to work is less than a 1/4 mile away and around a bend. I slam the car into 3rd again and hurry to my turn. I turn off the road and fly down it, losing any cars behind me.

That was close! My co-worker was laughing and saying she was hoping that i would get pulled.
