Z4 Testdrive= :(
Went back to European Motorcarraiges today with the gf and got to testdrive the BMW Z4. (thats replacing the Z3 for those who dont know) Maybe it was due to the fact that it was an automatic, but it didnt have too much go behind it. It handled like no other taking it around some corners, but we were both very unimpressed with the performance of the vehicle. Im not a car expert here, so obviously this is just one guys opinion, but I would rather have something thats faster like a corvette for $45,000 than dump $42,000 in the BMW. Im sure the 6spd version would definetly be quicker, but this gets a
from me.
There was a lot of internet comotion on how ugly the car looked in all the spy shot previews, but it actually looks cool. It had some optional 18" wheels on it that were wrapped in 225/40/18's.
Just my opinion though.

If memory serves me correct, I think the Z3 was going for around the same price, maybe a little less when it was in full production.
I wouldnt think it would be overpriced if I could have driven the 6spd version, but unfortunately, they dont have a demo model in yet in it. $40,000 for a car isnt alot to be crying over for a solid all around good performance vehicle.
