Well I suppose thats better then MooCows response "it wasnt making enough power to warrent my dynoing it or taking it to the track"....
Id think the 4 grand you dumped into it would at least warrent 1 of each. \
Edit: on an upside, if you pop your engine under boost, you can apparently get a new one for 600 bucks

Yeah, I know... That's kind sad, 600 bucks.
I think I'll kill the transmition before I kill the engine though.
I'de buy that engine just for a new transmition.
If I do end up doing irreprable damage to the engine, then I think I'll ditch the D17 and swap in a K series from the new accords. Those sound promising. I'll be able to transfer some of the turbo hardware as well. BOV, wastegate, intake filter, charge pipes, fuel injectors, and who knows what else...

Ot: I'm still around. I tend to post in the dusty corners of this site lately. I saw one of your posts not too long ago. I was wondering how you're doing? You know, the cancer thing and what not...

i'm with moocow, not worth hookin up our engines. we're going to go anywhere unless if we spend 10k. rather get an older civic and throw in a prelude engine.
i sold it because mainly i wanted to do another project. The civic was fun. It won some awards, was in a magzine feature, and a commerical, attended many many shows....I say that's pretty good. So move on to next project....RSX-S,..you guy will see it at the so cal meet in nov. 2...
oh i still have some stuff left over to sell from the civic

Hey Moocow,
What do you still have left to sell??
Guess what?? I aquired your panels for the trunk @ the riverside meet a little while ago. I was wondering if you by chance are selling any of parts of the actual system, ... ie, speakers, amps, etc......
nice article on Honda Tuning by the way.
ps. Did anyone see MY car on the first page in the Kaminari ad?? Small start for the sedan.....
