Today is a dark and miserable day
Well after dropping my fiance off at work I pulled up to the light and this chinese man thought he was in china and rammed me head on!! He had a Nissan PAthfinder with a steel bar in the grill which help shove me 10 feet backwards.
And my airbags didn't go off I think he might have hit me too high to catch the sensor. Now I have pain and I want my baby back
The body shop says the front ends of the rsx are on national backorder. They say it'll be a few weeks before they arrive. The problem is I'm moving to Niagara Falls for a new job in a week and I have no car damnit!!!!!

It could've been worse...so as long as you're not critically injured...
As far as having no car? Your insurance should cover it because it's not your fault. Yes,,they have to cover it because it's not your fault. There is also a policy you can buy which will provide you a rental car regardless of the condition of the accident. It's very cheap to purchase.
I'm not a racist in anyway( just hate everyone equally!)but I would like to point out that Generally......many chinese people cannot drive at all!! It's actually many Asians...Chinese , Korean, Vietnamese, Philipino etc. I don't think this applies to the many younger Asian generations who were raised in North America but it's the oldler adults that seems confused on the road.
I know this because I'm a Korean myself. When I go to either China town or Korea town and you look at the bumpers and the cars' general body condition, many cars are dinged,,has scratches around the bumpers etc etc etc. And...let's not start a racial war here please....I'm just giving my views.

thanks for the concern but my life is much more complex than stated. I need a lawyer and to get my rent a car straight for when I leave to NewYork. I have to drive back when my car is fixed and drop off the rental- fun fun. I alsohope that I can finish off my apartment so my future tennant can give me money hehe. Hey maybe my insurance company can give me a veilside body kit
Yeah right keep dreaming
Yeah right keep dreaming Sucks dude, but the back order thing is true...I was told this when I went to get the oem under spoiler kit for my car as they are on back order as well...luckily there was one ordered for someone else months before, and I had a hookup at the dealer
That bites.
Your airbags won't deploy in an accident like that. The way they work is that the car must detect an sudden drop in wheel-spin from the front wheels already being in motion to them stopping or slowing down immediately. So generally the car has to already be moving at like 40-50 miles per hour. You should be glad they didn't deploy - you definitely do NOT want to hit an airbag. It's nearly like slamming your face into a rock or being struck by one if you're not flying forward into your steering wheel fast and hard enough.
Don't worry... I've had 2 kinda big accidents in the front of my ride. I had to wait at least a month to get mine back and if you think about your car a lot, I'd try to do something else... it was hard for me enough. Good luck.

Ok I was completely stopped when this idiot hit me so that makes sense. I have to leave for upstate N Y on Wendsday then drive 8 hours back a few weeks later. I can live without my car but I want it fixed perfectly and if I drive 8 hours back and it's not up to my standards I'm gonna be royally pissed.
A lot of people who get hurt in accidents (head-on collisions) end up complaining about about the air bags NOT deploying when they weren't supposed to deploy in the first place and if they did, they'd either be further injured OR in fact killed. They get injured, and they wanna sue the car maker for the SRS not doing it's job when they don't know HOW they do their job in the first place. If you bought you car new, it comes with an short booklet about the airbag system and it's not hard to understand as I've pretty much just explained how they deploy during a certain kind of accident.

Oh yeah i'm not trying to sue the company after all they got better things to do to improve our cars. I however am still waiting on parts for my car to come in. They said maybe another week or so. And yes I drove back from NY already and I'll have to do it again in another week. At least the roads have nice pretty mountains on them
