It's a Ford Crown Victoria...no problems except the occasional EGR cleaning and IAC cleaning I bet. There's also another Vic that has over 550K on the odo that I don't have a pic of.
edit: 1992 Vic.

Ahahaha, that's funny. I just found out that the picture was taken when the odometer broke. It actually has a much higher mileage. Guess the guy thought it was funny to post a pic of an odometer that only lasts 419K.

Every manufacturer has examples of high mileage cars. It doesn't really mean anything in the realm of reliability or quality. How many fords do you really think make it up that high w/o major problems? Ford isn't known for making high mileage cars. I can't understand why you are so obcessed with proving Ford's quality. Are you trying to disprove years of data and factual information documenting just how poorly made ford's cars are? I don't get it...Especially, posting this stuff up on a honda board. Definately not the best place. Comparing one of the top car manufacturers for quality and reliability to one of the lowest...come on now.
Oh, and if you believe in Ford with such confidence, wtf are you doing driving an import?

My Ford Econoline Van has 220,000 miles on it with never opening the engine, the tranny was replaced at 175,000 miles. My 1990 Mustang GT has 130,000 with no problems, my friend had a Van just like mine, he is a tile setter, he put more than 350,000 on it before he sold it. Now I'm not saying Ford makes great cars because all the above mentioned ones were well maintaned and never reemed on. I still don't think Ford makes very good cars but thier trucks and vans seem pretty good.

All the cars ran flawless unless were talking about the time I blew out my rear seal in my transmission from doing over 120mph for 4 hours straight.

I post this here because most import drivers like to scream "Domestics suck" over and over again. I've owned 3 Ford cars and never had any major problems with them. Each of them are over 100K miles, and my best example is a 94 Crown Vic with over 200K. IMO, Honda's are very reliable cars as well...but the trend lately seems to be that Honda's quality is going down while Ford's is going up.
I don't think there is any need to talk about this subject. There is too much statistical data and raw data out there to be able to argue over Ford's quality. I don't argue over facts.
As for honda, honda produced a civic with an 'average' reliability for the first time in about 15 yrs. I hardly see this as going down. I guess you haven't heard about the focii catching on fire, or toyota's recall and extended warranties on engines where sludge build up is unpreventable. No maufacturer turns out a perfect product every year and model after model. If you start to see problems with the new accords, cr-vs, pilots, etc...then you can say honda is going down. But saying they're going down because of the vic and ford is going up with the focii...screw it, I can't understand this type of thinking. It makes absolutely no sense.
Everyone has got exceptions to the general rule. Just like some people can smoke their whole life and not get cancer.
Don't get me wrong though, I have owned 1 american made car, a 92 mustang gt. I had more problems with that car in 1 month than I have had with 6 hondas over a 10 yr span. My father had many american cars for company cars yrs ago. All were pieces of junk. Friends have had american cars, all openly called them junk.
I want to buy an American car. I would much rather support the American worker and factory. But dayum, the quality and reliability is relatively terrible. I don't know why we can't catch the foreigners in quality and refinement. Well, I think it's those damn unions and these assemble line workers making $25 dollars an hour to assemble a f-ing car. yea, pay us $75,000 a year to assemble a car. what a crock sheite.

After I went to the dealership with my parents a few years back and sat inside a cavalier....never again American. American cars have the absolute horrendous interior I have ever seen. How can they sell that to people.
I was going from Des Moines to Denver on I80/I76. The car broke down around 120 miles outside Denver near Sterling if memory serves me right. Had to have my brother who was in Denver at the time come pick me up and we picked the car up at a local mechanics shop 3 days and $410 later.
I hear everyone complain about how cheap the interiors are on "amercian made" cars. WTF. You are driving around in a $14-17,000 Honda Civic which IMO, has the worst interior I have ever been in.

Well, reliability and quality of the mechanics are much better in the honda for sure. No questions. My dad had 2 buicks, 1 chrysler intrepid and all 3 had problems after the first 6 months of driving. The buicks had the EXACT problems in the EXACT order of brake down.
Power windows don't work.
Emergency release handle snapped off.
Gear indicator needle won't move.
Left blinker stopped flashing.
Radio Antenna got stuck going up and down.
Trunk wont close properly. ... etc etc etc.
