Mice ate my air cleaner!
So... I went to put in a K&N drop in filter and I found a family of mice living inside the air cleaner. They had chewed through the factory filter and chewed up the plastic and rubber parts inside the air cleaner housing as well as the resonator. The dealer said the parts would be $135 which is a good enough reason for me to get an aftermarket intake.

I live in the burbs and it starts to get cold at night around this time of year. The field mice look for a warm place to build a nest. The only thing missing was the welcome mat at the end of the air intake!

thats NUTS.
have you been driving around with them in it? or do they get out when you start the engine.. and when you come home they go back "home" too...
look on ebay, or ask around on the marketplace for someone to sell their stock intake airbox and resonator... I see people let it go for 10 bucks...
IMO, you bought that drop in for a reason... cuz you want the stock's torque... so try to stick with the stock intake system.
