Help, removing center piece

Hello! sorry about this, I've check the DIY section, but most links are broken, I need to take my center piece off, but I can't seem to understand how, I found this on the DIY:

Quote
Remove the center piece by first removing the heating and cooling ***** (just grab and pull), and remove the accessory plug trim piece (looks like a cigarette lighter plug). You will need to put a thin rag on a flat tip screw driver to get that trim piece off. Unplug the plug. Now, if you look up in there, you will see two 8 mm bolts(silver), remove these, then push the bracket up until the center piece pops out. You will have to push hard, but it will push out, the radio and everything is connected to it.( do not attempt to pry this piece out with the rag and screw driver, it will warp the plastic and will not have a good fit when replaced! Trust me ...I know
I don't understand the part I've highlighted, where are those accesory plugs trims??

The spot where your 12v socket is along with the little cubby hole. That whole piece just pops out. Like it says, just take a flat tip screwdriver wrapped in a thin rag and pop the whole section out.

What I do is just grab the cap, and pull that mother off!! the way it's connected it won't break off or use a screwdriver, (You can wrap a cloth around the flathead screwdriver to prevent sratching) but the civic interior is so eazy to scatch GOOD LUCK! (fallow up)

Ok, if you don't like the screwdriver method, just grab ahold of that lower piece and yank as hatd as you can - it's held on by clips, and they're pretty snug when you pull the first time. But you won't damage it at all - I was kinda worried when I first did it, but it's really easy. Just be careful not to rip the 12V cord.
