Wouldn't the $40 have been cheaper than $150?[hr]

I forgot the city, but you can't smoke outside of your house becuase the area is so dry and the risk of Fire is great.

And if they don't want me throwing my cigarette out the window, then don't charge me 40 dollars more to install an ashtray in to my car. My car, as most likely all of yours, DIDN'T come with an ashtray. Descrimination, I say.

If you don't like smoke, smokers, or cigarettes.... move to another communist country that doesn't allow smoking (oops, they don't exist) or live in the mountains as a hermit. But stay the hell away from me, and don't ever preach to me. All you do is remind me I haven't had a cigarette in a while and I need one now.

So of I go to smoke. Thanks buddy, your killing me![hr]
I can't believe any one would rant this long about someone saying smoking is bad for you......You're so ghay. You diserve a ticket for throwing a cigarette butt out the window retard

i haven't really gotten any dumb tickets... my dad did tho, a few years ago:

Running stop sign. Make of vehicle: Schwinn. Color: red.

yeah, he was on his bike. it was even dumber 'cause there was a bike race going on that day, down the same stree he was on, just going the other direction (there are stop signs every block, literally)... and all those guys were running the signs (heck it was a race!).

dumb. it cost him over 300 bucks to get it taken care of 'cause it was out of state of residence and he works all week so he couldn't be there for a court date and stuff. at the same time tho, we all joke about it... it's definitely something only my dad could pull off.

$150 ticket for not having my blinker on so many feet before I turned is what she had on the ticket. But I didn't have my blinker on before I went into the intersection and so she pulled me over and lectured me for awhile on that and how I was endangering my girls life umm ok

But I got my mechanic to write me up a fix it receipt that my blinker was kind of messing up hehe It was put as a Warning in court

Not really a dumb ticket, but a pretty cool ticket story.

I got a "failure to observe sign" ticket in college. Driving back to school after a MNF game at 2am. The Eagles had lost in the last minute on a horrid play to the accursed Cowboys. I wasn't happy and I was in a hurry doing 80 in a 55. A statey pulls me over and asks me where I'm going and where I'm coming from. I explain that I was heading back for class the next day and that I was at the game earlier. He says "eeeh, Sorry." and then comes back with the "failure to observe sign" ticket, slightly lower fine than speeding, more importantly no points.

So if I don't smoke, I should pay to remove the ashtray I neither want or need.

If you don't wanna buck up for the ashtray, put a mug in the cupholder and ash in that, or something like that. There are so many ways to avoid throwing a lit butt out the window. That fine is perfectly legit, so quit crying about it.

Ashtrays have many puposes. One: Ashing, Two: Coins, Three: Trash. AND FOR THE 3rd TIME I DIDN"T GET THE TICKET!!!!!!!! Ashing in a cup is disgusting. Nothing worse then the smell of watered down ash that has been there for days. And if you don't add water you could burn through the palstic cup. and a cup is usually to deep and narrow for you to reach in and put the cigaratte out in and concentrate on the road. So AGAIN In closing, IF you don't know what you are talking about.... STOP TALKING!

Go ahead keep quoting me BUT first QUOTE me right. You will lose this battle every time.

PLEASE READ.

And yes becuase you don't know how to read you should have to pay 40 dollars to get the ashtray removed.

Other than saying you got the ticket, how did I quote you wrong. I took out the first paragraph because it was pointless, other than that those are your words.

'01+ Civics come with change trays so who needs an ashtray. I never said use a plastic cup, the point I was trying to make is that there are other ways to ash in the car that don't involve tossing you butt out the window.

I know that is a change holder! But come on... You don't think that is in the worst possible spot. You have to look around your steering wheel which then in turn makes your eyes leave the road even longer (this applies to paying tolls). Are you Tall? Doesn't it get in the way of your Knees. Do you put your trash in the change holder? or does it end up in the seat or the carpartment buy the E-brake? See how nice an Ashtray would be for you NON-Smokers.

An Ashtray is in the center console Out of way and In a clear area! PERFECT. I am sorry you all! but this is a never ending battle. Just quit hating. it's bad for your health and longevity. You'll get gray hairs quicker and then no matter how sweet a ride you have the woman will not care. You'll be 25 and look like you are in the middle of a mid life crisis. The ticket comment was for the one before you but i may have mixed you in within the ranting.

They should of left the ashtray regardless!

Who gives a FUCK about ashtrays???

As long as the smoke's not inside my car I could care less, plus people pay thousands to customize their cars, $40 to add or remove a tray is nothing

People get into arguments for the damndest things... THEYRE ASHTRAYS!!! You can breathe now.

And I wont post my dumbest ticket story cuz I'll get some mad flames (deservingly) for that one
