What im trying to say is that all you guys clocking in at 7s, and 8s with auto civics have some serious accuracy issues here. Looking at your watch while you're gunning it to 60mph isn't the most accurate form of timing the performance of the car. Using a stop watch to time your OWN car to 60 mph isnt all that great either. All those who claim 7s and 8s on your civics with bolt ons please provide some hard evidence. Tape yourself of have someone tape the speedo while you're making the run and post the MPEG. Let others decide what your time is, not yourself. We will make the calibration of the weight with another person in the car. That is not too difficult to do, because at this point, it seems like either everyone is bullshitting, or they're encountering a great fault in timing their 0-60.

Believe me, i can launch as good as, if not better than any manual driver out there. Also, i think 6 of my friends who spat out the same results as i did can launch too. We've been taking trips to the tracks weekly and launch was not the issue on this testing.

yea i ran low 8s before my tranny blew up (first time)
yeah, the eclipse time seems right. Those were the times i were looking for on this thread. My friend's auto 99 i4 accord runs about 11.5 seconds. My beater 95 hyundai sonata auto runs 14 seconds from 0-60. haha ridiculous if u ask me, but i couldnt agree with s2000man01 more. Any method of timing 0-60 other than with the usage of an accelerometer is inaccurate.
