while w8ing for my car @ the dealer *maintence*
I talked to one of the "reps" at the dealership i was at. and we got into talking about rx-7's and how he ownd around 3 2gen rx-7's was pretty neat. then he got me to sit inside the 02 Civic Si and was telling me about the i-vtec and how it quick this lil worm is so i told him to prove it to me by taking me on a test drive....... well tomy surprise the Si is pretty damn quick and he got the Si to chirp into 3rd gear 
haha i was loving ever second of it. He then finally let me drive it, and i must say i love the power the Si has compared to my Civic Ex i mean the Si gets going fast it picks up speed like its nothing, the only thing i hate about it is IT UGLY!!!!!!!! But the rep then told me that sometime in December or Januaury that they will be coming out with a Civic Si Coupe???? [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/IMG] has anyone heard anything about that at all this is my first time hearing that but i think it will be a good plus on their side if they do because the hatch is ugly and the look of the coupe is nice...... just wanted tot share my day today. oh btw we raced a saturn in it and we smoked it ez lol pos saturns.

Rep Power: 0 They aren't that quick stock. I have driven FOUR different 7th gen Sis, and none of them, have seemed quicker or even AS quick as my lightly modded EX is. Even the salesman agreed with me when I said where are the ***** in this car take my car around the block 
They have really nice seats and all... make more torque but they only feel quick TO ME until about 5000 rpm. But I suppose they could have all been low on oil and not had vtec engaging but thats kind of hard to believe.

Rep Power: 0 1. New Si's numbers are STILL 1/2 second slowern than 6th gen coupe Si's.
2. there is NO coupe coming out only change for Si's is that BLUE is getting added back to lineup.
3. YES VERY UGLY i have seen some nice kits for them but STILL very ugly.
4. Very SMUSHY ride, TO DAMN top heavy even some of my friends that have dropped them are to top heavy
5. Would not be a bad car if you could get a steal on one then switch in either a REAL typeR motor or at least the iVtec 200hp thats in the RSX-S
All in all get it if you want faster, don't try to say the SLIGHTLY modded EXs are faster and long live the Si's!
