A friend of mine is doing a H22 swap!

One of my friends found a company that makes motor mount for a H22 to fit in our civics. He's getting the mounts in about a week and a half. I'm hoping it will hook up right. I'll post pics when hes done.

Took me a while, but I cracked up. Thank you.

Yeah, an H22 would own. I don't think it would fit though.

Yeah, the Steven Papadakis 7th gen has an elongated nose and the engine was placed length-wise. Even then the hood had to have a bulge in it to fit the engine in. Width-wise it maybe could fit, but they wanted room for the larger slicks. Check it: AEM Drag Civic Gallery

btw, for those who care about a real h22a fitting in a 7thgen, keep an eye out for jeremy lookofsky'c 7thgen. heres the Link. its supposedly going to be faster than his crx which runs mid 10s on n/a. its 200lbs lighter than that crx. the engine in the crx is going to be the same in the 7thgen. if any of u have importracer, they had an article on it over the summer. here's the link to the cover page: Link.....see the 7thgen?

Yep. Looks sweet. The size looks stock, but I think the whole front of the car is just a mould of the 7th gen body. It might be a custom tube-fram chassis. If not, then that's sweet!

Damn some of you guys have no faith! Why don't you encourage instead of diss people! If he can more power to him, if not it will be a waste of money. If if he does get it in everyone will wanna know how he did it. Anyway good luck man, keep us posted! I know that I'm gonna get flamed, but that is what happens here on this site when you give your two cents!

just to up date you guys, he got the mounts in. But they sent the wrong ones and told him it will be about 5 days before he gets the right ones. AND for all of you non believer and a$$holes that think you know everything it does fit. he put the motor in with the mounts they sent to find out they didn't fit up. So to shut up you jerks a H22A does fit in our engine bays with the way it sits. Were just waiting for the right mounts now.

I don't care what anyone says...it won't fit without taking the core support off. Or knocking the firewall back. All with custom mounts.
