How do you make an S2000 faster?

Rep Power: 0 What's so stupid about that? NO S2000S WERE HARMED IN THE MAKING OF THAT CAR! Those are kit cars based off the lotus 7 that don't come with an engine. In this case, the person opted to put in an S2000 engine and resell it. You'll see a lot of them with various 1000 cc sport bike engines, and other exotic 4cyl engines. They're sickly fast too.
As for comparing it to the panoz. The panoz costs 3 times as much, and when you're building a full blown racecar you're not worried about how maad tyte it looks. Not to mention the panoz is twice as heavy, etc.
I'd hardly consider buying an S2000 long block from a dealer a waste of a good S2000.
