Help - Insurance
Please look at my ride in members rides. Now, the insurance adjuster has just told me, that he sees $6500 dollars worth of damage. This is without looking underneath the car. He says the $6500 includes painting and labor. Now what you dont see in the pictures is that the whole right side of the car is scraped and will need to be repainted. Does something seem wrong with this figure?? Oh, he also tells me it needs $10,000 worth of damaged to be totalled. WTF. The blue book for excellent condition private owner is only 14,000. Anybody know what I can do in this situation?

Something isn't right... Every horizontal panel on the car has to be replaced, the windows, the frame needs to be pulled, who knows about the engine, and whatever else needs to be re-aligned. Get someone else to quote it. There's no way that's only 6500 bucks.
forget about the aduster, i think i will take the car back to the honda dealer. if possible get a price from them. I'm pretty sure it will be $10000 or close if you get it from the honda dealer.

I would have a private facility give you a quote then tell your adjuster
