just wait until ford starts pushing more hp and the engines and cars start failing....lok at all the recalls on the focus svt already
i'll stick with and take my chances with my forever running honda
and my 90 hatchback.

The only reason why SVT exist is to give Focus a image lift. They don't make jack on it. Hell, they won't even be mass producing it... nevermind the fact that it is only sold at selected dealerships.
Honda is interested in making money, not playing games. Civic already has the sportiest public image, whereas Focus does not. SVT is Ford's answer to get Focus accepted by the younger buyers.
Why the new 5-Door? To combat the Toyota Matrix XRS.
