cleaned my k&n filter for the first time today...
I really recommend doing this if you have a dirty filter or have had it on for nearly a year like i have..I used the k&n filter cleaning kit (cleaner and oil) that came with my old FIPK for my 3000gt. My car had been feeling kind of sluggish at very low rpms and was hissing like a horny cochroach when pressing the gas. brought back the nice red color to the filter and immediately noticed the difference when I got it back on. no more fake turbo sound and the small lag @ low rpms is gone. I would say do this if you haven't already and are experiencing similar symptoms like i was having. [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]

I cleaned mine too....the sound went away a little bit, but it came back after driving some 4000 miles. The dirt actually helps it. 
Can i get a K&N filter cleaner at any auto parts store or do i have to order it from somewhere. I've
had my CAI for a couple of months and i haven't cleaned the filter yet. I think it's about time
