Be aware that the only legal engines that are B series that you could use would be a B18C5 or B18C1 from a 2001 Integra, if you have a 2002 your only option is the K series.

How did you blow your motor? Nitrous?

Nope, no other engine will drop right in. You will need to custome install it. And you have an 01 so you won't have a problem with the laws. Just find yourself a good shop to intall it around your area. GL dude.

Well, pretty much only the stock engine only fits on the stock mounts... you would have to get some mounts custom made just like IB did for htown... but it takes a lot of trial and error and lots of labor time...

Damn that sucks. You don't even seem upset. You must have lots of money to not be worried about an engine blowin.

If you look at the members rides you will see a nitrous bottle in the trunk. Maybe that had something to do with it.

A B-series will fit on the stock mounts, but you will most likely have to create a new subframe. And you may lose one or more belt accessories. It is unexplored territory, that's for sure. The easiest route would be to just get a new D17 from Honda.

i have no clue how it blew guys, i wasnt spraying or even getting on it, it just blew. the piece that pushes the piston up and down and part of my block are blown to crap. and no i dont have an endless money supply i am really angry and i just spent 3 hrs in the garage taking out all the wiring and the nitrous kit and putting the stock intake back on so honda will replace it. but htown, i have to get a whole new subframe? that sucks b/c i dont think any of the shops around here know what theyre doing. im just going to get honda to raplace it under warranty. ill post pics of all the pieces of my motor later lol

Hah...Dude...good luck...
If it's a warranty claim, Honda of America will examine the motor BEFORE giving you a new one under warranty. TRUST me on this..I threw a rod in my 99 civic at 27,000 miles...

Sorry to hear that, it sucks
I have nitrous and I dread using it, only when I have to.
Three questions,
What shoot were you using?
And what noise or reaction you got from your motor when it blew?
Where was the sprayer connected in on your intake?
I know someone that is trying to do NOS and Turbo at the same time using our engine and my mechanic told me that this would happen.

I'll appreciate to feed back and good luck.

I have a turbo and nitrous. I use a 25 shot for the low rpm turbo spool. I havn't had any problems in the past couple of weeks. It runs fine. Don't hate Hector. If it eventualy blows, ohwell. rsx swap then.

it sounded like two metal pieces clanking together and an m80 going off the same time, i was on ly spraying a 50 shot and it was about 4 inches above my throttle body, but i wasnt even spraying when it happened

yes, you werent spraying when it happened but it could have blown from the spraying you did before it happened

what were you doing when it blew??? were you at really high rpms??? racing around??? there has to be a story to go along with a blown engine...
