So lets see more dyno results

Ok, so I don;t have any mods yet because I'm payin the car off, but as soon as I can afford them I will do some dyno work. The point of this post is to see more dyno sheets and actual gains from aftermarket parts, mods, etc... You just can't trust the manufacturer. Of course they will use the best dyno run of all, and maybe even cheat some on the results. The thing to do is have some people dyno their car before and after the part is on the car. A$$ dyno is fun enough, but I want to know exactly what I will be getting when I do get some parts. It would be cool to finally know how much power to expect. Lets help each other out. Maybe we could even try to have some donations for dyno runs using members cars. I know I would pay at least $20 to get some cars on a dyno and get real results. You would too right? Lets help the cause out!!

I agree. I would also donate money to have dyno runs of before and after.

kinda hard to get things like thath going.

there's a selected few members that've got dynos run... but, all of them never posted any graphs.. so...

I haven't seen any gains yet in peak hp and peak torque from all the dynos people have posted... there may be changes in the powercurve but who knows, since we cant see the graph.

and to set something like this up is pretty hard.

if i could afford the $125 per hour to have my ride DYNO'd, i would without hesitation, but it just seems like a lot, especially when i dont have a mechanic to FINE TUNE my engine...

it still would be very interesting to see how much HP i've gained from all my mods, considering im runnin an LX that can take EXs...

Ya guys thats what I mean, I know its kind of expensive, but so worth it! If we got some money donated and had a few intakes tested and some exhausts tested, etc, etc... then it wouldn't be so expensive. If you donated $20 and we got enough people then your $20 turns into info on an assortment of products. We all bolt on these products that the manufacturer says adds 15 horsepower, but really I want to know and I know all of you do too. Anyone else interested? Maybe 7thgencivic.com could handle it kinda like holding that raffle. We could list the products or have people in an area sign up to have their cars tested if they have one of the products that people want to have tested. I dunno, it sounds like a freakin good plan to me...
