ok so why was the first reply japanese domestic MODEL??? And the other guy after him was actin like that was it, tryin to clown. But that has been asked many of times. Search, come on now.

Rep Power: 0 yeah people in america have actually dubbed a certain way of tuning and modifying your car as JDM but it stands for Japanese Domestic Market and it refers to parts and cars available in Japan, like the Civic Ferio,and some differences in parts you can only get in Japan, for the 7th gen the rear tail lights and side view mirrors being just a few of them, I like JDM crap, probably because it's hard ot get it in the US (the real stuff anyway) and it just seems way nicer and cooler, Japan always seems to have the better stuff performance and looks wise.

I'll admit, lots of jdm parts look and performe much better...
but the trend is sorta lame. you got the hardcore peeps, and then you got peeps spending 50 bucks on auth. jdm side markers
and calls their car jdm what not.
I duno, something about paying 2-3x amount of money for parts that are oem is kinda funny.
the honda car scene is kinda weird...
I'll admit, lots of jdm parts look and performe much better...

Rep Power: 0 JDM means japanese domestic market, but also JDM is like a whole sub divisoin of the import scene in America. it's like its own mindset. some hardcore JDM fanatics even import right hand drive vehicles from Japan. But cap is right. i guess like any trend, there are the die-hards and the posers.

Rep Power: 0 you know what I think? Well, searches are good for people who want to use them but really we need something to do so questions like this one are great to stimulate a conversation. So if all you have to say is "Search Newbie" then more power to you. Afterall it gives people like me something to write about too.
