How much weight does a CF hood save?

Cuz our hoods aren't very big to begin with. I know that every 100lbs less is .1 second less on your 1/4 mile time, but I can't imagine a CF hood saving more than 30-40 pounds on our cars.

average hood is about 30-40Lbs (dont know about your car specifically). average CF hood weighs 10-15 Lbs.

Yeah. Our hoods weigh about 30lbs. My FiberImages CF hood weighs about 15lbs. I know that the SunnyStylin CF hood is the lightest of all CF hoods. About 10lbs for the 7th gen civics.

big sub + enclosure + amp + wiring = way more then 20-30 lbs.

I don't see the point of it being used for weight reduction when all the weight in the front of the car is from the stuff UNDER the hood.
