What i want to do is increase the hp from the embarassing 127 that it is at now. I dont race alot as u can see the auto trans and the 4 doors but I wreked my z28 and bought a civic for dirt cheap from a freind. Going from 300+ hp to 127hp really is depressing. What I wanna do is get the car around 170 hp and dont know a damn thing about civics so can someone tell me what parts i can get for it and where i can get them and how much their gonna cost. also plz tell me how to clear those DAMN headlights. I'm dumb i need detailed instructions. One more thing, what kind of exhaust can i get for it to make it sound "Beastly". Money dont matter i gots lots.

you can start with an aem or injen intake and an exhaust. there are some companys out there making a turbo for our they as they say, you can add a turbo when and if it comes out. you can also put nitrous. a 50 shot is recommable for our cars.

edit you have an auto i dont think you can add a turbo. my bad. put get some nitrous. a 50 shot will put you around 170.

Screw the air intakes and stuff like that, ain't gonna give you waht you need. Go for the Nitrous. A whole sh.it load of HP for ya.

ya turbo is the best way to get alot of hp, this one company in van nuys, ca made a turbo kit for our cars. i heard it was like $4,000 shipped. they made the turbo on the fiber images car... n i heard of 3 people on this site that has turbo now... before it was thought to be impossible but more and more people are getting it.. also another is a rsx type s engine swap for $10,000. nos will also give you that instant power gain but your going to have to refill the bottle every so often...

If money don't matter, get an engine swap! Or better yet, a new car! You can't put much mods in the engine bay anyways since space is so limited.

turbocharged cars with auto trannies have been around for quite some time. it works. ask volvo.

It's a matter of can the tranny in our cars take the excess torque.

Anyways, try the swap. Talk to Htown he did his. Or, trade it in for an RSX-S. There's some rice power for ya!

Heheh...just as many people switch from older-gen vics into more powerful cars...give it time and our cars will start getting dumped...I hate to admit it but i'm already saving for a new 350Z or G35 coupe...if the new Accord coupe wasn't so ugly, I'd get one w/ the 6-spd stick.

Welcome.....now, my best advice is to read as much of this site as possible to learn about our car if you plan on keeping your car......just Search "more HP".....and go from there...now I'm going to lock this due to it frequency...Peace!
