Maybe there can be domestic love after-all...
Wow, I can't believe what just happened...
I'm driving down a 4 lane street, when I see a late generation Trans-am w/ stock chrome rims and an exhaust system.
So, I think to myself..."Damn, if I ride by him he'll probaly want to race me..o well." Keep in mind it is about 1 Am in the morning.
So I see a bridge coming up and I begin to catch up to him, and we are about even and the bridge is coming up, so I downshift to second and rip it, he obvioudly hears my car and looks over and lets me go.
A few seconds pass and I see him coming up pretty hard, I look over and he looks at his friend then he looks at me with a smile...so I just shake my head no.
Then we are at a stoplight, and I tell him "Haha, you can't go picking on stock 4 cylinders man! That's an eight! Now if I have nitrous or turbo or something...maybe, but not now." He laughs and says "Haha, but if you had nitrous you'd probaly take me." I tell him "Soon..." So he says to me "Looks like your well on your way there, nice ride."
So I start asking him about his ride and vice versa. Very cool.

Rep Power: 307 Similar thing happened to me, although I didn't get a chance to talk to the driver or her friend. . . tragic.
Was heading north towards my old neightborhood, following a late model Mustang with two VERY cute girls in it. We both make a right on a green, they turn wide and take the left lane, I stick (with my 17's and Paradas) to the right lane all the way around and gun it. Bear in mind my engine is still stock EX, but I think they were in a V6 Stang, anyway. Catch them in about 2 seconds. . . they gun it. We're on a 4-lane major street, no one else in sight. . . we're finally doing 80 and I back-off. I wasn't ready to get ticketed, just yet.
Anyway, long story short. . . . I pull up to the next light where these gals are already sitting, and they look over and smile. The passenger looked down, then looked back up to me and gave me the "OK" sign and smiled again. Not as good as talking, and not as good as meeting up with them later. . . but I'll take it.
