hey wassup...i think u have to be more specific bout the header and intake...cuz so far the only thing that i see that might stop u from passing emissions would probablly be the header...i dont know wut kind of header u have...or where ur from...but im from cali...and most if not all of the header are not emission passable...also it depends on wut kind of intake u have...cuz ive heard that u cant pass emission wit the injen...however i also heard that they are comin out wit the carb exempt sticker or something
GReddy's exhaust passes emmissions I think. The AEM intakes do, too. Aren't DC's headers the same?
If you have to get a smog check to pass the emmissions for your state, just put the car back to stock for a day. Or just take off the parts that don't pass the test.

I heard that here in Houston if one of your emergency lights is on your car won't pass. I'm talking about the lights on the dash the ones that say srs or maintance required. Is this true because my maintanence required light came on when I hit about 8000 miles and hit has not come off. I now have 30,000. I read the owners manual and did what it said. It never came off. My friend went to the dealership and they charged him $90 because they said they couldn't take it off unless they changed his oil and stuff. Cany anybody tell me how they got it off?

that isn't an emergency light. It is just telling u that you need that you need your scheduled regular maintanence. Read the manual it tells u in there when it comes on and how to take it off!!
i am getting a generic intake and i know some of u guys r going to tell me to get a brand name. but this one comes wit all the parts including the tranny bracket check it out here http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ME:B:EOAB:US:6
anyways i was wondering if it is going to be a problem in dallas, tx to get my inspection sticker wit this intake. i don't know how strict it is here. and can someone send me the link for the regulations in tx. i searched but couldn't find it. thanks
