Relocating Washer Nozzles?
Alrighty if you're going to tell me to search, I did. thoroughly.
What I'm finding is lots of people (myself included) are reluctant to use the washers on our car because it gets our hood's cleanliness mucked up. I'm contemplating buying a set of new nozzles, disconnecting the ones that are on my hood (leave em there cause the nozzles look good there) but rehooking up functional nozzles just underneath the hood by the windshield, Or perhaps even on the wipers themselves (saw this on my parents old sunfire)
Just wanted to know if anyone has tried this, anyone think it would work? I would love to be able to use my washer fluid without having to wash the front end of the whole car later lol
I guess my main obstacle would be attachment... and aiming it properly...
what ya think yeall? worth a try?
If there is a DIY or other post on this, please refer me to it.
Thx

i dont know why you would want to relocate them, i have seen cars with them relocated but i think it looks dumb. but as far as doing it, i am not sure, i am sure you would have to sand and all kinds of crap. but best of luck
what about all you carbon fiber hood owners, what did you do for washer nozzles, just have none? it shouldn't be so hard to hook them up just behind the hood. mounting them may be a bit of a pain though, what are they supposed to attach to?

I'd absolutely love to be able to use my washer fluid without getting washer fluid all over my hood
