More 2001, 2002 differences

More 2001, 2002 differences
@ The carpet in the trunk is much thicker...like 4 times thicker.
@ The headlights no longer use the removable black clips around the edges, the clips are now built into the housing and its much harder to get the headlights back to original shape after taking them apart.
@ The glue is much harder to take off as well
@ For some reason I found the chrome piece inside the light much easier to remove on the 2002
@ of course the 2002 has the cupholder cover, which IMO looks very nice
@ The guages are white face and slow silver and grey at night, and the HVAC controls glow white instead of orange
@ the 2002 LX has matching door handles, a hinged door under the stereo,and a cover for the compartment next to the e-brake, and a armrest (which i must sya sucks ***** and IMO not very comfy all EX features in 2001
This is after a night of clearing the headlights on a 2002 LX, I cleared my lights about a year ago.
Anything else that i missed?

The controls for temp direction etc (HVAC I think u say) glow orange at night, not white.
The gauges aren't white, they're silver/grey, all the time from what I've experienced.
I agree with the part about the black clips on headlights, and the cool thing about the glue is that you don't have to use aftermarket sealer after clearing your corners for air tight results.
mine is EX, but I still have all those 2002 LX things you mentioned, armrest cover for cups, hinged door under stereo and there is also a cup holder on the part where E-brake is, but it's in the back for anyone sitting there to have their cup held.

Rep Power: 417 my clips were the same as the 01s, the glue was just as hard n the chrome peice was even harder due to that one screw...
and i also like the thinner carpet cause my thick one is already messed up. it rips rather then stretching

Rep Power: 0 The 2002 Civic has a gas cap holder. There is also supposed to be added sound insulation.
There was a list of all the minor, or not so minor, changes at one of the auto web sites, but I haven't been able to find it. It might have been edmunds. I would like to see the list for the 03 Civic when that becomes available.
