yeah it'd be a good move for toyota to bring back the supra as competition against the 350z. it seems feasible. also, yep, the rx-8 is coming out, and IMO it's near the top of my cool list. don't get me wrong, i like the 350z, also.

Old news, the STi/EVO VI/SUPRA/Skyline was suppose to come the states by 2003/2004. New that since 1999. I've been following the Import Scene since I saw my cousin's, boyfriend's '92 LS Teg in '97. Supra sales down in '97 - would bring back if there was a demand/reason to, Nissian was waiting for the next gen Skyline b4 in came to the states, and the 2.5 RS was not cutting it and the Galant was doing better than expected - reason why there was no Lancer.

Either car and driver or automobile said the supra may be coming back in 2004, due to Nissans reintroduction of the Z, and my guess is due to the fast and the furious.

I Supra is the holy grail of the import tuning community. There's so much untapped performance potential in that engine. Supras pushing 900+hp isn't unheard of. Mmmm... I want one.

it's amazing how the supra gained value over the years.. in 1998 you could buy a brand new TT supra for 33,000... now if you bought a brand new TT supra it would cost you 55,000 US dollars....
