this makes me glad I don't own a 5th gen. check the message boards - there's people with sn's like "aznboosta" [IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG]

The new Civics and RSX's need to have the key programmed to match the ignition immobilizer and the particular ECU. So I don't think a master key would work on our Civics.

We have a saying in spanish: "El que hace la ley hace la trampa." Loosely translated to he who makes the law makes a way around it. I would almost guarantee there is a master key that will start any civic with the immobilizer. You just need to program a specific code as a backdoor and voila!!! Your in like Flint!
