B16A in 2k1 again..
Here it is.. a guy in souther taiwan did the swap.. there are more pics of his car somewhere.. a guy had the actual photo at the meet i went to last night... i just wanted to see if the first thread i posted would get locked.. [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG] anyways.. i know it's not BS cause the pic i saw last night was and actual picture.. i'll see if i can find some more pics.

Rep Power: 0 I hate to disappoint you but I don't think the car in the pic is a 7th gen. if you look toward the upper right corner of the 2nd pic you see a black bracket type of thing. I don't see anything like that on any pics of 7th gens I have, the silver part just bends down. The ABS lines look different too. I could be wrong though, I hope I'm wrong. I know you don't care.....

Oh.. for everyone that wants a manual that has an auto.. a guy did that here too.. he spent 12000NT on the freakin thing.. they don't have manual 7th gens in taiwan..

I can read chinese but its just a meet's picture.. there aren't anymore pics on the engine I guess.

Here is an older shot of my engine bay..
Here is a nice side shot to show the ABS lines...
And an angle kinda like the one in the B16 pic...
Everything seems to be in the right place; brake fluid, strut tower (bolts are in the right pattern), washer fluid, the one with the red in the center of the top (forgot which one that is right now...). Also on cars who's engines rotate opposite of ours (RSX engine) the washer fluid and that other container are on the opposite side of the engine bay (this picture is of the driver's side). It looks to me to be a 7th gen Civic chasis, but one thing bugs me...the ABS lines are diffent than mine. Mine is a 2001 Ex Coupe, with a manual transmission. I have not seen if this is different on 2002 Ex 2dr/4dr models. (ABS on Ex only right? and Can. Si? or do some Lx models have it?) The lines in my car come from the side of the grey box and go in a horizontal line over the box, while on the B16 pic they originate from the top of the box...(sorry for all the technical words, but I put it that way so you guys could see what I'm talking about in the picture [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG])....but anyways...thats my thoughts...

Rep Power: 0 Umm, on a 2k1 it would be if it was from an integra. There was a 2001 integra built. In cali, its the same year or newer. B16 would be illegal, b18 would be legal.

Rep Power: 0 Im gonna have to go out on a limb and say it might be real. Im posting a pic of my engine from my old Si, and I can spot a couple of differences. Like theres a thing next to the engine that is in the 2k1, where the cruise control is on the Si...im not saying that it cant be fake since you cant see the headlights, but im not gonna say that this is the usual bs either.
