[hr]Good evidence here that there is nothing wrong with OEM Honda brakes. Its just the tires! With no changes to the standard disc/drum/ABS combo on the EX, we recorded very good stopping distances. The best 119 ft puts the Performance Package less than 10 ft off of what a stock S2000 can achieve. Not that we expect the Civic PP to be able to repeatedly stop in that distance without fade.

Peak lateral accel G (clockwise): 1.058 G
Peak lateral accel G (counterclockwise): 0.989 G
Avg lateral accel G (both directions): 1.024 G [hr]

119 ft is impressive braking performance--especially with rear drums.
----
if they added a beefier rear antisway, the car could probably handle a lot better.

Last time I was at my dealer they had an '02 Civic Ex with the "Factory Performance" package on it & the sticker on that car was a tad bit under $23,000. & those wheels in that picture up there were on the car at my dealer as well so I assume they are standard on the "Factory Performance" cars.

rear drums? If they had better brakes in the front, it would stop faster and not as much as you would like. Rear discs are over rated. If they do more than 40% of the braking, maybe it would matter.
