Hey guys this chic ok, first off she ugly lol but anyway she weigh more than her car she tells me that in her 02' civic LX she took a V6 mustang and then she says she can beat mine. I have a 01' Civic EX with exhaust and intake and she says she will take me. Her car is bone stock. Now I know as a man that this is bullshit. But honestly I guess I had to ask this just to insure myself that I am right on this. Am I correct in saying that her stock automatic LX can't take me or a v6?

in an auto LX...i dont think so....but in my 5 speed LX with full exhaust, i ran with my friends V6 auto stang and barley nudged him...

maybe the person she reaced couldnt drive, i dunno....

well for those of you that have never driven a 6 banger stang........they are slower than a turtle. i beat one in my 1980 cmaro with the 3.1l v6. and that old camaro was a really heavy and slow car. oh and by the way for those of you that did not know, stangs suck a$$

She beat a v6 mustang, when and where, speeding a 0 to 35 mph street? then probably the civic´s weight gave it and advantage, race them well past 60mph and civics (including mine) will eat the mustang´s dust.

what year mustangs, the newer model mustang v6s have 193 hp and 225 lb/tq. There is no way an EX or LX can beat it sorry unless you have all bolton's and maybe get close but I don't see that happenening.

Hmmm it really depends on the year of the V6..... I used to own a 1995 V6, and the thing was slow. My civic could clean up on it (it was a manual too... my civic is an automatic) So is it possible, sure depending on the year. But then again, it probably was just on the street anyways and half the time only one person thinks its a race..... and it's usually the civic driver [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]

Speaking of FULLY STOCK cars, the mustang will rape the civic, but hey, the civic gets 15 more miles to the gallon. My sister has a 99 mustang v6 automatic, and that thing isnt slow. with her car i've raced a 2000 Si on the freeway which was being driven by a cocky lil boy who thought he was king of the road. the mustangs torque is way higher than the civics, and the car just flew by the civic. perhaps some civic owners should look att he car they bought, a civic is a "SUB-COMPACT", in no way does that make it a SPORTS CAR, which a mustang is. So the firl can go on believeing what she wnats, and lying to who ever she wants, and also, the drivers of the cars matter more than the cars they are driving. and if i have used more than the 20 words people use to reply to these forums, then sorry, but a civic is a civic, and a mustang is a mustang, they do not compare. Until just recently, I owned a 96 Camaro. It was only a V6 coupe, but there is no doubt in my mind that it would blow my Civic away. I think that I have more fun driving my Civic though. It is a lot smaller and lighter, and it seems to handle better than that heavy Camaro. I also plan on making my Civic have more HP than my Camaro had. My Camaro had only just over 200 HP(someone please come out with a turbo kit!!).

I guess we can agree that all newer mustangs can rape an LX or EX. Older ones like 95 and older might be slower and race could be closer but there is no way that a newer mustang will lose against a civic unless the driver can't drive worth a crap.
