Read this!
This was posted a while back and the guy got flamed for it. I kept my mouth shut then because I thought it was pretty darn informative. Way to recycle Grey!

Incorrect Term: Nitro
Correct Term: Nitrous or Nitrous Oxide
Since The Fast and the Furious hit theaters, we noticed a marked decrease in the population that refers to nitrous oxide as "nitro". There is a fine linguistic line separating "nitro" from "nitrous", and as with any other easily confused or misheard term, the differences between the two are drastic. Nitro is short for nitromethane, an extremely reactive (explosive) automotive fuel. Nitrous, or nitrous oxide, is an inert gas that contains more oxygen than atmospheric air.

i was really impressed that their article archive just kept going back and back, that site is packed full of really good info (not as much as this one of course) definately put on my favorites list, Thanks for passing it on Grey
I actually learned the Nitro one from the History Channel not too long ago. I'm looking forward to the "How air-intakes really work" thing, as I don't know too much about car engines as of yet.

So, why DID Bryan O'Conner spin out when driving in a straight line? And I dunno but what was that clicking noise everytime he shifted? ::Clink::
See if you can get that link on the intakes when it comes out.
