Need peoples' thoughts on window tints
hey all im going to be getting my windows tinted next wednesday, but im still kind of undecided on which tints i should get. i drive a silver civic and i dont know if i should do the straight black tints or the reflective tints faded into the black (the majority of the window is reflective, fades into black like the bottom 5 inches of the window) id like to hear your guys' opinions. thanks for the help.

go all black or all reflective. the 1/2 & 1/2 looks kinda tacky and even worse if you ride with the windows part down. i had a silver 5.0 and the reflective tint looked pretty sharp as it does on most neutral colored cars but it tends to clash with reds, blues, green, yellows and other colors of that sort. i have gotten many compliments on my reflective tint on my 02 white ex.
llumar and solar gard tint I have had the best results from. I have 6% Limo all around and besides the cops being a pain things have been all good the limo is worth the results. Never had reflective but I hate anything flashy that attracts the cops here to my ride I have enought problems with them, just owning a hooked up civic

I have 5% limo tint on my rear 3 windows of my sedan... some days I wonder if I went too dark but it is really sweet to have a private back seat to slip into whenever you feel it necessary
Anyways for silver coupes I've found that I prefer looking at a silver coupe with black tint... the colour combo just seems to go quite well... I would vote for the silver/mirror tint but I think it makes the window trim stand out really bad on the car.

I've got 5% all the way around with a 7 in strip on the windsheld and it looks dope. Silver with black looks the best. If you could find someone to do a very lite reflectivelayer over the black that also looks good..

i've got 5% on the quarter and rear window, and a strip on the winshield. it looks great on my silver coupe. i would love to get the front windows done too, but its too much hassle if i got them done.
REFLECTIVE= So cheezy/ghetto looking. Just get normal black tint in whatever shade you want. BUT PLEASE no reflective. This looked ugly even when it came stock on some cars/suv's.
