I myself like the overall design philosophy but the side glass/flying buttress treatment just does not flow with the rest of the car, IMO...then again, I am no designer...

I don't see how anyone can say they don't like it. In my opinion all Ferrari's are beautiful cars. I live in Tulsa, Oklahoma and I have seen one Ferrari, but I'm vacationing in Ft. Lauderdale and I was down at South Beach Miami in my uncle's 02 M5 and I raced one and he handed me my ***. I love all Ferrari's.
sweet car, but where's the clutch? what's the deal with ferrari and posche putting automatics in their exotics? i guess old retired folks need f1 and triptronic transmissions if they are to buy these cars

Nah, man...that ain't no auto or manu-matic. That is a true electro-hydraulically controlled and actuated clutch-less manual, directly derived from the F1 car, BTW.
All this means you shift like you would any manual car, except instead of you pushing a pedal to actuate the clutch, a computer does it for you in like 10-15 milliseconds--it will even blip the throttle on downshifts so you can match revs perfectly and impress people w/ your mad driving skillz.
Porsche's version is a little slower but works on the same principles. I ain't rich so I have not had the chance to try these cars but averyone raves about the system...from racers to car mag writers to hot-shoe test pilots.

Silver2k1Dood, FYI that pic is not just on the streets of Italy. That pic is taken directly in front of the Ferrari Museum in Modena, Italy. I know because I was there last Fall. Let me tell you something, you have not seen a true museum if you have yet to see the Ferrari Musuem. The display of automobiles inside is just amazing.... they have every kind of Ferrari ever built, and even some prototype engines. Also, outside, where that pic is taken, the air screams with a high pitch. It literally sounds like a car redlining at about 14. I asked what that sound was, and our tour guide says "Oh thats just the Ferrari testing strip 1 MILE AWAY They road test every Ferrari before sending them out."

I swear it sounded like a damn fighter plane. If anyone here as the means, I seriously recommend checking out the Ferrari musuem. It is amazing. BTW, when we left the museum there was a newer model all black Ferrari in the parking lot. A young Italian who looked about 30 jumped in squeeled out of the parking lot. I have never seen anything so beautiful in all my life.

You lucky dog...I went to Spain 2 years ago and had to cut the trip short, otherwise, Modena Italy and Ferraris had been a part of my original itinerary. I have to go back!! Can't die w/o seeing that now!!!
