Just smoked a BENZ C 230 in my brand new 2k2!!!!!!!!!!!****
I just raced my friends '02 benz c 230 or 240 i forget which one it is, anyways I wrecked him, yes it it automatic, but its still a big engine, with enough torque, i recked it off the line and all the way up to about 65-70 mph which is about 110/120 kmh....
not bad at all IMO
just thought id let ya all know, by the way my car is almost 2 weeks old and i have 1600 kilometers on it already, and its still bone stock si (ex in states)

C240-2.6L V6 (not a typo, C240 has a 2600cc motor) 168hp, 177lb-ft@4700rpm
And they have 5 speed auto so the gearing aren't as bad. German slushbox doesn't rob as much power as Japanese ones. They weight quite a bit more than your Civic but still they can all run 0-100km/h in under 9 seconds.
If you have a stick Si you ~might~ tie the C240.

Rep Power: 0 I'd have to say that your friend probably didn't know that you were racing. My parents have several of the newer Mercedes and while none of them are C classes, they're probably some of the fastest cars I've ever driven (aside from my patrol car).

Rep Power: 0 Ok honestly this is starting to **** me off, why would i lie and tell all those people i dont even know that i beat this car, and he did know i was racing coz we raced twice, and after we met up at his house and we were talking about it with abunch of people who saw us race for like 20 minutes...so basically IM NOT LIEING, HE DID KNOW THAT WE WERE RACING, COZ HE WANTED TO RACE ME, i didnt even wanna coz i thought i would lose! and its the sedan not the coupe...maybe ill have someone take a video of us racing, and ill show u, i actually smoked him like 2 car lengths easilyyy...

guys, remember that horsepower specs aren't the only thing that matters when it comes to racing. there are so many other variables that i don't have to tell you about. the biggest one is probably driver skill (when power is reasonably matched).
I really don't know much about the C class... I've driven a E320, an older S600 and the new S55... they're all VERY well-made machines. I don't think the "baby" benz would be any different. I don't know how you beat your friend, but I can't say you didn't.

Rep Power: 0 He was a BAD DRIVER. That car could smoke you, me and everybody else who owns a 7thgen. I have driven the car, it is supercharged, and while it is not the fastest thing on the road, it is AlOT faster than what we are driving.

Thats it this weekend i am going to get a video camera and make sure you all see it...he has a c 240, sedan which is automatic, so how can he be a bad driver? ITS AUTOMATIC, i had 2 people in my car and so did he, dont forget that that car is pretty heavy, it is a benz after all!
I encourage all of you find one on the road and race it...you will see that you can take it! and if you don't ur civic is a LEMON!
